Margaret Ukrop
Senior Manager, Donor Relations and School Programs

Margaret joins the Champions team with a background in implementing programs in the social impact and policy space. Most recently, Margaret worked on a campaign in Virginia, where she advocated for school choice and education reforms. Margaret is the daughter of a Catholic high school educator and is thankful for the religious education she experienced growing up. She is passionate about giving every child that same opportunity to experience and grow in a religious school setting. Margaret graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Leadership and Public Policy, and she lives in Manhattan with her husband.

Wendy Kwitny
School Relations Manager

Wendy’s background in the arts and her experiences leading poetry workshops and spearheading a successful grade-school chess club set the stage for her professional interest in education and enrichment programs. After substitute teaching in New York City public schools and witnessing the discrepancies in academic opportunities, Wendy became a proponent of the mission of Catholic schools. Having graduated from Bennington College with a degree in English literature and provided her sons with the best educational opportunities available, she‘s grateful for the opportunity to pay it forward.
