Our History

Partnership for Quality Education d/b/a Champions for Quality Education (Champions) was founded in 1946 to strengthen Catholic elementary schools by providing academic, enrichment and capital upgrades to ensure that students receive a high-quality, competitive academic education at their Catholic school.

For over two centuries, Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of New York have provided families with a viable alternative to public school education. Our students are able to learn in a safe, family-friendly environment wholly directed toward instilling young people with such cherished values as kindness, diligence, honesty and altruism. Catholic education produces outstanding individuals across all industries that become productive citizens and give back to the community.
